CIMC teachers

We offer a place where people of all religious, non-religious, and philosophical persuasions can come together to learn, support and deepen practice under the guidance of three meditation teachers: Larry Rosenberg, Narayan Liebenson Grady, and Michael Liebenson Grady.

CIMC Guiding Teachers

Larry Rosenberg
Larry Rosenberg

Larry Rosenberg is the founder and a guiding teacher at CIMC. He is also a senior teacher at the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA. Larry is the author of Breath by Breath: The Liberating Practice of Insight Meditation and Living in the Light of Death: On the Art of Being Fully Alive.

Narayan Liebenson Grady
Narayan Liebenson Grady

Narayan Liebenson Grady is a guiding teacher at CIMC who has been teaching at the Center since it opened in 1985. Narayan is also a guiding teacher at the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA. She is the author of When Singing, Just Sing: Life as Meditation and is a regular contributor to Buddhadharma: A Practitioner's Quarterly.

Michael Liebensen Grady
Michael Liebenson Grady

Michael Liebenson Grady is a guiding teacher at CIMC and a senior teacher at the Insight Meditation Society. Michael has been practicing Vipassana since 1973.

Teachers

Maddy Klyne
Maddy Klyne has been practicing insight meditation for more than twenty years. She teaches regularly at CIMC, offering courses for adults as well as teens and young people. Maddy is an assistant teacher at the Insight Meditation Center in Barre, MA.

Ron Denhardt
Ron Denhardt is a long-time practitioner of Vipassana meditation. Periodically, he teaches the Beginners Drop-in Group at CIMC.

Reya Stevens
Reya Stevens is a long-time practitioner of Vipassana meditation. She taught the Insight Meditation Correspondence Course from 1999-2006. Periodically, she teaches workshops and also the Beginners Drop-in Group at CIMC.
